Aortic stent graft system for the correction of thoracic aortic aneurysms

Purpose of the product

Aortic stent grafting is a self-expanding tubular endoprosthesis consisting of a woven graft made of polyester and a spring frame made of nitinol wire.

The aortic stent graft system consists of the following components: stent graft and delivery system.

Thoracic stent graft in a straightened state

Thoracic (thoracic) stent grafts are delivered with a delivery system in the form prepared for installation in the aorta.

Thoracic Stent Graft Delivery System

Indicated for the treatment of aneurysms / dissecting aneurysms of the descending aorta

In the cases of implantation of these devices, an aneurysm or a false lumen (rupture site) is eliminated from the bloodstream and blood flow is restored through the true stent graft lumen.

It is intended for patients with indications for traditional cardiac surgery, as well as for those for whom traditional cardiac surgery is contraindicated due to the expected high risk of negative outcomes.

Contraindications

Thoracic stent graft implantation is contraindicated:

· To patients with pathology associated with the risk of infection of the graft.
· To patients with hypersensitivity or allergies to device materials

To ensure a reliable radial fixation, the diameter of the thoracic stent graft selected for treatment should be larger than the unaffected portion of the vessel.

Thoracic stent grafts are not maintainable. The product is disposable.
